Diving Update: February 5, 2012

What a great day at the Division Diving Championships last Sunday!

In the 11 and under Girls, Penn Aquatics divers captured almost half of all the awards given to the Eastern Division divers; six out of the fourteen finalists were from Penn Aquatics led by Keri Capstack and Julia Neubaum, followed by Cassie Cunniff, Hope Blair, Samantha Grossman and Carmel Falk.

Penn Aquatics divers won two of three medals in the 12 to 14 year old Girls event, with Samantha Dearolf coming home with the silver and Ashley Moore winning the bronze.  Kelly Ryan followed closely in fifth place.

Five out of the eight finalists in the Boys 11 and under age group were Penn Aquatics divers!  The team was led by Matthew Humbert winning the bronze medal for third, followed by Kole Meinhart, Michael Descano, Luke Blair and Valerian Mochalin.

Our Penn Aquatics divers performed well and we are all very proud of them.
