PENN Aquatics Invitational Procedures and Policies

To help clarify the PENN Aquatics invitational procedures and policies, we have provided the flow of information, paperwork and fee billing.   It is important that everyone (parents, coaches and swimmers) understand what the process is for PENN Aquatics to participate in the many invitational meets so the registration and billing can be as efficient as possible. 

Background: Invitational meets are optional for both USA and SAL swimmers.   These are however, a great way to improve your times and participate in events you may not get a chance to.

Fees: Participation is these meets are not included in your yearly registration fees.  If you commit to signing up for an invitational, you are required to make payment.  ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS for any reason! (including sickness, injury etc.)  Once PENN Aquatics submits their entries, we are responsible for the payment of the races signed up for-regardless if the swimmer shows up and swims.   

Past Due Payments: Payments not received within 30 days of billing or if your registration fees are not in good standing, may suspend your privileges to register in future events.

How much are the fees?  Fees vary from event to event.  SAL invitationals are typically $4.00 per event.  Some USA meets have an additional sur-charge which you are responsible for paying. 

Schedule:  Listings of which invitational’s PENN Aquatics will attend with an attending coach are listed on the pennaquatics website.  SAL Invitationals USA Invitationals Email notifications are also sent to notify parents as well.

Registration SAL Meets:  Coach Jason Clark clark62862@yahoo.com coordinates all of the SAL Invitational’s.  You must submit your desire to participate by sending him:  the name of the swimmer, event number and stroke.  Each invitational has a flyer and event listing which describes the events. 

Registration USA Meets:  USA meets are limited to those swimmers who signed up at registration to participate in USA meets.   Should your swimmer desire to participate in the USA meets, and did not sign up at registration, there will be an up-charge per swimmer as PENN Aquatics pays our swimmers USA registration fees.    Coach Courtney DeSandre pennaquaticsusa@gmail.com coordinates the USA meet registration for PENN Aquatics.

Coaches at the Invitationals:  PENN Aquatics provides swimmers a coach at the meet.  There are some USA meets which we do not sponsor, for those, you are required to register and attend on your own. 

Billing:  Once committed to a race you will be billed via email.  Payment must be in form of a check payable to PENN Aquatics.  This must be mailed to:

An additional $3.00 per transaction will be charged to have an on-line payment processed.   Should you have any questions regarding your fees due, please contact Kay Ciaralli pennbilling@comcast.net .
