The web page is at www.firstcontactrecruiting.com/students.htm
High school age swimmers who meet the minimum
times listed on the table can report. The report form provides
an opportunity to enter best times, meet and date information
so results can be verified. It also has places for home
mailing and contact information, academic information and
other items of interest the athlete wants included in their
file. The information provided is entered into a database,
which is not accessible to anyone through the Internet.
First Contact Recruiting continually pulls
and updates results from meets throughout the year. But
some best times achieved in regional meets, lead-offs, time
trials, etc. may not be recorded. That's why swimmers are
encouraged to revisit the site either through the web page
or through email to update times. First Contact Recruiting
is not an agent for any particular athlete or school. It
acts only as a collector and dispenser of information, which
goes only to college coaches who take it from there. Athletes
should consider this an opportunity to get their name and
information out – and of course it is free to them.
Divers are welcome to report their results
as well. The web page is set up for swimmers but divers
can use the address box to type in text about their 11 dive
championship score, leave an email address or phone. There
is a tremendous amount of interest in divers right now!
College coaches are particularly interested
in hearing from the 2004 graduates because the final update
goes out to those folks at the end of August. Then the preparations
for releases on the 2005 group starts. Coaches start asking
for matches as early as October and continue throughout
the winter and spring with the majority pulling a main report
by mid-April and updates throughout the summer and early
fall.
