Coach Brian began coaching at PENN Aquatics in 2015. Swimming competitively since the age of 7, Brian graduated from Pennsbury High school as one of the boys team captains and also competed summer league at Oxford Valley until 2015. Brian has held relay records for Oxford Valley and unofficial relays in high school. Preferring breaststroke, Brian continued to develop in swimming and endurance. Also, having experience working as a swim instructor since 2010 and as a lifeguard instructor, Brian is Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR, and AED Instructor certified.

 

Brian graduated from Bucks County Community College where he studied Physical Education. He was Student Vice President, President of a club honors organization, and started an aquatics training group at BCCC.

Liz Gehris

Liz is new to PENN Aquatics as a swim lesson instructor. She is a lifelong swimmer and looks forward to fostering children's love of the sport. She is a Registered Dietitian recently retired from a successful career in clinical practice. She has experience helping athletes achieve their fitness goals through good nutrition and is excited to share her knowledge and practical nutrition tips with PENN Aquatics. 

Liz and her husband, Paul (also a swim instructor) enjoy an active lifestyle and enjoy hiking, traveling and being outdoors. They have 2 grown children; a daughter, who lives locally and is a teacher, and a son, who lives in North Carolina and is a civil engineer.

Paul Gehris

Paul is new to PENN Aquatics as a swim lesson instructor and lifeguard. He recently retired from the healthcare industry following a fruitful career as a senior sales and marketing executive. Paul is a National Outdoors Leadership School (NOLS) certified wilderness first responder. While in high school and through college he was a lifeguard and swim instructor for the town of Falmouth Massachusetts beach committee. 

Paul and his wife, Liz (also a swim instructor) enjoy an active lifestyle and enjoy hiking, backpacking, traveling and being outdoors. They have 2 grown children; a daughter, who lives locally and is a teacher, and a son, who lives in North Carolina and is a civil engineer.
