PENN Aquatics Parent & Me Classes at Truman
Parents don't have to sit on the sidelines as their child splashes around. Join in on the fun with a Parent & Me Swim Class! Your child will feel far more comfortable with a familiar face by their side in the swimming pool. At Parent & Me Swim Class, you'll also see firsthand how your child progresses and builds their swimming skill sets — not to mention participating parents can help identify areas for improvement to work on later. A parent and me class also serves as an incredible bonding experience. Grow closer to your child as they learn a valuable life skill. You and your little swimmer will cherish your time together while creating new memories.
Location: Truman High School
Water temperature: 86 to 88 Degrees
- Requires parent participation in the water
- Ages 1-4
- 30 minute lessons
- 8 classes (once per week)
- Saturday 11:30-12:00 PM
- $85 per swimmer

PENN reserves the right to change dates based on school closings/issues. Make ups will only occur if PENN Aquatics cancels practice.
We are asking that if you or your athlete feels sick, please stay home.
Things to bring to class:
- Bathing suit for parent(s) (we welcome both parents if they would like to join us)
- Bathing suit for child
- Everyone should arrive with swimsuits on and ready to enter the water
- 2 or 3 towels
- Swim diaper if they are not potty trained
There will be use of the locker room to change after the lesson.
